With the current health crisis and closed international borders, holiday makers have had to postpone trips this Summer, however, the Valencia Tourism Agency has carried out a study showing that the Costa Blanca remains one of the British´s favourite destinations. Data has shown that a million brits searched for holidays here on the Costa Blanca for the last 4 months of this year when normal travel between the UK and Spain is hoped to be in place without restrictions.

The Prime Minister has also spoke positively about the situation and expects that if the health situation in Spain continues to evolve favourably, it to be most likely that the doors will open to foreign tourism in July, at which point the tourism agency expects to see a further surge in searches.

After such uncertainty and fear, the data showing one million brits comparing prices for destinations on the Costa Blanca is great news and speaks volumes, demonstrating that the British still want to spend their holidays here in Spain.
