Orihuela Costa beaches open with social distancing guidelines
22 Jun 2020
New signage has been placed at most beach entrances and simple to follow guidelines are in place to control the Covid-19 situation and hopefully protect users of the beaches so that a return close to 'normality' can be enjoyed for the Summer ahead.
Ball games are in the main not allowed, and neither are use of lilo's and inflatables. Beach users are being also asked to respect sensible social distancing when entering the beach and picking their location to 'plot up'.
Life guards, 'virus control' agents and local police are all working together to ensure safe beach usage, and separate areas have been sectioned off for walking and sitting so that they are kept clear from each other.
With luck and a sensible approach all residents and tourists can hope to enjoy the beach as always although with these few controls in place which should provide some peace of mind and the ability to retain beach access – so important to many.
